New Jersey must extend the Sandy forbearance program to allow families more time to get home with less financial hardship. Many have had to pay mortgages on top of rent and other living expenses while struggling to return home.

WE need protection for homeowners guaranteed until the tenth anniversary of Superstorm Sandy.

WE need more accountability for banks that do not comply with the law.

WE need new families to be able to enter the program when we extend it. They may have a need now that they did not before, we should help as many families as we can.

There are over 1,000 families in the RREM program who are still not home. Help them get home by extending foreclosure protections.
