No ICE on LSU's Campus!

LSU Administration

For the last two years, we have seen the Trump administration using ICE to try to repress immigrant communities and spread fear. ICE agents have illegally arrested and deported tens of thousands of people. They have also murdered hundreds of people, most recently Renee Good and two people in Portland. ICE raids have also affected current and former LSU students. Last summer, two Iranian students at LSU were kidnapped and illegally held by ICE for weeks. Former LSU nursing student Vilma Palacios has been held for six months in ICE detention while being denied proper healthcare or hygiene products. It is clear that wherever they go, ICE only brings terror and bloodshed. That is why we demand that no ICE presence on LSU's campus be allowed by the university's administration, and that LSU and LSUPD reject any collaboration with ICE.
