Hosting the Bowls team doesn't just ignore that — it sanitises it. Sport cannot be a shield for atrocity and sport washing.

Why
Hosting Israel's national team sportswashes apartheid, illegal occupation, and genocide.
The International Court of Justice has found it plausible that Israel's conduct in Gaza breaches the Genocide Convention, the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israel's leaders and the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry has stated that Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Why
Tens of thousands of Palestinians have been killed, including 21,638 children. Stadiums bombed or turned into detention centres. At least 1,014 Athletes killed. Gaza's sporting future erased.
Aid entering Gaza remains far below agreed levels, and civilians — including children — continue to be killed.
Sport Must Take a Stand
Bowls cannot be complicit in war crimes and Sport washing. Cancel the matches. Suspend the Lawn Bowls' Association of Israel from World Bowls and European Bowls.
