NY State Senate Democrats Must Investigate Jeffrey Epstein
NY State Senate Democrats
NY Senate Democrats have the power - and the moral obligation - to start their own investigation of NYPD failures and pass an “Epstein’s Law” to end all child sex trafficking in New York.

Jeffrey Epstein ran a child sex trafficking ring out of his 7-story luxury townhouse in Manhattan for 20 years.
At least one victim filed a complaint with NYPD in 1996 after she was sexually abused by Epstein, but NYPD did not investigate him. Other victims may also have filed complaints - we just don't know.
After Epstein was convicted in Florida, he was required to check in with NYPD every 90 days or face felony charges. He never visited NYPD, but they did not prosecute him.
Since the Republican Congress refuses to investigate Epstein, NY State Senate Democrats must launch their own investigation immediately.
New York needs an "Epstein Law" with compulsory police investigations and harsh penalties for child sex traffickers and their clients - no matter how rich and powerful they are.
We must make sure there is no child sex trafficking ever again in New York.
