NYU, Drop Your Contacts With ICE's Enablers Hilton & Enterprise
NYU Admin
We, students, faculty, and staff, are appalled by ICE’s trampling upon the human rights of communities across our country. Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the primary provider of ICE’s vehicles. Hilton hotels choose to house ICE in Minneapolis and across the country. And right now, NYU has contractual relationships with both of these ICE enablers.
We call on you to end our relationship with ICE enablers Hilton and Enterprise by May 1st, 2026. Our tuition money and institutional resources should not be funding corporations that directly threaten so many members of our campus community. It's time for NYU to live up to our values!

New York University has a contractual relationship with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National, designating them as preferred vendors. The agreement provides employees with special rates that include loss damage waiver and liability insurance for travel in North America. Bookings are made through the university's Concur travel portal. The university's Travel and Expense Policy encourages the use of these preferred vendors, and departments have the option to set up direct billing accounts.
NYU's 'Preferred Hotels' page lists the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca with a 15% discount. A 'Hotel Promotions' page features several other Hilton properties, including the Hilton Garden Inn Manhattan Midtown East, Hampton Inn Times Square South, Hampton Inn Madison Square Garden, Hampton Inn Chelsea, Hampton Inn Seaport, and the Hampton Inn Financial District. The Campus Travel Management website also recommends the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca and the Hilton Brooklyn New York for university-affiliated travelers.
