Right now, there are millions of Americans who would like to go to the doctor but can't afford to. Millions more are rationing lifesaving medication. This system is working very well for insurance bosses and pharmaceutical executives. But regular people are struggling every day with healthcare affordability and access.
It doesn't have to be this way. The Medicare for All Act would provide primary care, vision, dental, prescription drugs, reproductive health care, and more to every person in the United States. And it would save us boatloads of money by negotiating drug prices and reducing the vast administrative waste in our current system.
