We are calling on Speaker Nancy Pelosi as a leader in the Democratic Party to fight to get the Congressional Democrats in the Senate to pass a version of the American Dream and Promise Act that she successfully shepherded through the House that would provide a path to permanent residency for holders of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA), Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Enforced Departure (DED). She has promised to fight to include the provisions in a budget reconciliation bill in the Senate which only requires a simple majority vote.
