PETITION FOR BETTER TRANSIT IN BALTIMORE CITY
The Problems
As a Baltimore resident, I believe that Governor Hogan and the MTA have hurt our city by:
- cancelling the Red Line
- jamming through the BaltimoreLink project, which doesn’t shorten commute times or better connect people to jobs
- failing to properly repair and maintain our Metro subway and light rail systems
The Solutions
As a Baltimore resident, I believe that the MTA and the Governor could fix many of these problems right now by:
- investing in a true Bus Rapid Transit system that makes it easier for people to get to good-paying jobs, pay fares quickly, and board buses without delay.
- investing in good-paying public sector jobs to maintain and repair our rail system
I support transit workers and riders and their people’s plan for Baltimore!
