Petition for Cuomo to Resign Immediately + Public Impeachment

Andrew Cuomo announced today that he is planning to resign … but that he intends to remain in office for two weeks.
But justice delayed is justice denied, and today’s news doesn’t change our demand: Cuomo must immediately resign, and the legislature must conduct full, public impeachment proceedings so we can understand the extent of Cuomo’s multiple abuses of power.
Plus, New York simply can’t afford two more weeks under a rudderless administration. Many of Cuomo’s top officials have already quit -- and at this pivotal moment in the fight to contain the Coronavirus, Cuomo can’t be trusted to make effective decisions without a full team in place.
