Dear North Solihull Residents

We, the undersigned residents and enthusiasts of North Solihull, hereby express our collective support for the establishment of a BMX Pump track or Skate park within our Community. We understand that HS2 will be funding a huge part of this set up with minimal pressure on Council's funding. A BMX pump track or Skate park would not only serve as a recreational facility, but also bring numerous benefits to our community.

Reasons for support:

1. Active lifestyle : A BMX pump track or Skate park provides a unique and engaging way for residents, especially youth, stay active and lead healthier lifestyle.

2. Community Bonding : The pump track or Skate park would serve as a focal point for community gatherings, fostering connections among residents of all ages and backgrounds.

3. Skill Development: It offers an opportunity for skilled development in BMX riding or Skating, encouraging talent growth among local riders.

4. Tourism and Visibility: A well-designed BMX pump track or Skate park can attract visitors, boosting local footfall and putting our community on the map for sports enthusiasts.

5. Safer environment: The facility must include local community participation and partnership in maintaining and ensuring safety for those who are using the facility, as well as the neighbourhood.

We the undersigned urged the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to consider and support the establishment of BMX Pump track or Skate park in our community.
