Kaplan teachers care about our students and, as experienced and skilled teachers, work hard to provide support and instruction. As professionals whose salaries have been below the rates of inflation for years, Kaplan teachers want to be treated with respect by receiving an annual cost of living raise in pay and a $17 non-teaching rate included in our contract. I am signing this petition because I support Kaplan teachers. They have a right to fair pay and benefits for all teachers. It is my hope that Kaplan will show that they value their teachers, who are experienced professionals, and negotiate a fair contract. A fair contract for Kaplan teachers will result in better learning for all students.
