🚨 An 80-Foot, 294-Unit Project. A Full Public Review Is Essential.
The proposed 1 Harbor Drive project has grown to 80 feet tall, 477,000 square feet, and 294 housing units.
The developer says this project should be approved "by right." SOS attorneys say the City must require a CEQA review because the City retains important discretionary authority over key aspects of the project. Residents deserve a transparent analysis of a project of this scale before any approvals are granted.
A CEQA review would help evaluate potential impacts on public safety, emergency access, traffic, flooding and sea-level rise, infrastructure, tree removal, neighborhood character, and other community concerns. It's our best chance to force a real accounting of the impacts and gain mitigation for them.
The choices made in the coming months will help shape the scale, character, and livability of Sausalito for decades to come.

- The impact on wildlife of the removal of 55 trees, including 12 heritage trees
- Visual impacts and neighborhood character
- Construction-related impacts
Residents deserve a complete and transparent understanding of the project's impacts before decisions are made.
