Peugeot’s key partner, THACO has business control over a subsidiary directly linked to land grabbing, deforestation and abuse. Things were so bad that the International Finance Corporation (IFC) had to step in to negotiate an end to the occupation of Indigenous people’s land in Cambodia.  

Peugeot is happy to sit back and watch the profits roll in from this toxic business relationship, and so far, it’s done absolutely nothing to pressure THACO.

Peugeot is hiding behind its arms-length relationship to THACO and their destructive subsidiary. But we know this is how giant multinationals like Peugeot can wash their hands of responsibility. We’re here to demand that Peugeot stops hiding and starts acting.
