Pfizer Don’t Desert American Taxpayers
Pfizer CEO Ian Read
The American pharmaceutical company Pfizer is considering buying Allergan in order to shift its corporate address offshore to Ireland, a tax haven, and avoid paying its fair share of taxes here at home.
By moving its corporate address to a tax haven, Pfizer will dramatically cut its tax rate – leaving American taxpayers to make up the difference. Pfizer will also be able to shift billions in U.S. profits to Ireland every year and dodge paying what it owes in U.S. taxes. Incredibly, Pfizer already has $74 billion in profits stashed offshore on which it has not paid a dime of U.S. taxes.
Demand that Pfizer abandon its plans to buy Allergan in order to change its address to Ireland to dodge paying its fair share of taxes.

As a multi-billion dollar American company, Pfizer should pay its fair share of taxes here at home – not stick the American people with the tab. We demand that you drop your plans to buy Allergan, move your corporate address to a known tax haven and dodge paying your fair share of taxes.
