Please take measures to protect rare and endangered animals!

World Animal Protection

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to touch upon such an issue as the extinction of wild and rare animals!

Year by year, there are less and less wild animals on our planet. And this is easy to understand: the world’s population is growing; and the more people, the less space for animals.

Someone might think that animals only become extinct due to hunting them by people. However, without sustainable and well-advised hunting, which controls the number of birds and animals, it is unlikely that there would still exist roe deer, deer, saigas. Extinction of many animal species is caused by human indirect influence on their lives. The fact is that the human involuntarily robs ‘all creatures great and small’ of their natural habitats, their forage areas. The number of animals is affected by deforestation, plowing of steppes, desert lands development, swamps drainage, pollution of rivers with industrial wastes, pollution of seas and the atmosphere. These actions exterminate animals as quickly as with a gun, poison, or traps.

At present, it is important to preserve any species of animals which were being created by the nature during many millions of years.

And why is it necessary to safeguard wild, especially rare and endangered animals? Perhaps, many people do not wonder about that. But even if thinking of it, they quickly find an answer: if there are so few animals of some kind, they probably do not matter for the nature, hence, even after their extinction, life on the Earth will not stop. After all, history has a lot of such examples. However, those who think so are deeply mistaken. G. Durrell, a well-known English scientist, justly says about the attitude of people to wildlife: ‘The world is as delicate and as complicated as a spider’s web, and like a spider’s web, if you touch one thread, you send shudders running through all the other threads that make up the web. But we’re not just touching the web, we’re tearing great holes in it; we’re waging a sort of biological war on the world around us.’

Wild animals, especially their rare and endangered species, deserve close attention and caring attitude. This is exactly the part of the organic world that is most vulnerable, and its loss is not only quite possible, but it can occur in a very short time. That is why the preservation of rare and endangered species of animals, as well as, of course, plants, is considered in the World Animal Protection to be a task of primary importance.

To preserve the richness of the wildlife, and even to multiply it, the human has to do much. Since its assumption of office, World Animal Protection cares about the protection and reproduction of the wildlife. On 25 June, 1980 use of Wild Animals was adopted. The law addresses an array of issues related to caring for fauna. It sets forth the basic requirements for the protection and sustainable use of wildlife, determines the uses of animals, in particular, hunting, fishing and others.

As in many other countries, registration of rare and endangered animal species in the World Animal Protection is carried out by recording them into special lists called the Red Data Books.

In our country, much work is being done to enrich and protect nature, and the success of this depends largely on each of us.

While being in nature, you must treat everything around you with great attention and care. Do not build collections of mollusks, beetles, butterflies and other animals. Collecting - even without malicious intent - can cause significant damage to the nature. Any unauthorized activity related to the use of wildlife is unlawful and cannot be permissible. Wildlife should be inviolable by anyone.

At the moment, there are a lot of animals on the verge of extinction.

I urge everyone not to be indifferent to this issue. We must take measures to prevent the extinction of wild and rare animals. I believe that it’s all in our hands and within our control! Best regards petsexpert.co.uk
