KY: Pledge to Vote Uncommitted
President Biden
We are a multiracial, multi-faith, anti-war collective of Kentuckians who are pledging to vote uncommitted in the upcoming Democratic presidential primary on May 21. We are using our votes to send President Biden a message: we are uncommitted to his administration’s funding of war and genocide in Gaza.
Voting uncommitted was not our first choice. Voting uncommitted was what Biden and the Democratic party cornered themselves into. After not listening to our demands and continuing to abet the murder of 30,000+ Palestinians, we decided to unify and mobilize efforts for Biden and his administration to hear us. Biden and his administration need to know, if there’s no justice, there will be no peace. Sign the pledge to deliver Biden a message: we are uncommitted to your campaign until you meet our demands for a permanent ceasefire and an end to unconditional aid to Israel.

President Biden,
I am voting uncommitted in Kentucky's Democratic primary on May 21.
You have ignored the vast majority of Democrats by refusing to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and continuing to send unconditional weapons funding to Israel. We thought we'd voted for a President who believed in humanity, but you've broken your own midterm promises by continuing to fund forever wars in the Middle East and doing very little to stop anti-Arab and anti-Muslim hate at home.
Your unquestioning loyalty to Netanyahu has not only led to the resignation of top-level government officials across the country, but it has also undone many years of organizing to build trust in Democratic communities for their government. You've spoken about the threat to American democracy posed by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. It’s baffling you'd attempt to portray Netanyahu's far-right government as part of our global fight against authoritarians, when in fact what Netanyahu has done to Israeli democracy is like MAGA on steroids.
This is your chance to course correct. Until you call for a permanent ceasefire and an end to unconditional aid to Israel, Kentuckians pledge to join thousands of Democrats across the country in voting uncommitted this primary election season.
