To President Joe Biden,

We, the undersigned American citizens, write to bring to your attention and express our grave concern over the brutal execution of 58 casualties of Hazara Shia Muslim Children at their school by Takfiri Deobandi Extremists in Kabul Afghanistan on May 8th 2021. Another 150 are injured or in critical condition.

The extremist Takfiri outfits have a common religiously indoctrinated hate ideology against Shia Muslims, Sufi Sunni Muslims as well as non-Muslim communities in Afghanistan and across the world.

The mass murder of Shia Muslims, especially Shia Hazara Muslims by Deobandi Taliban graduates of these Madrassas are well documented in academic papers and multiple books in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The United States has an obligation and responsibility to these suffering Shia Muslims of Afghanistan, especially when our troops have been in Afghanistan for decades.

It is time to take action.

We the Shia and Sunni Sufi Muslim citizens of the United States call upon our President to use every power to declare the Takfiri ideology a terrorist ideology and demand our Gulf Partners to immediately stop funding of the Deobandi and Wahhabi/Salafi Madrassas in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Gulf countries and rest of the world.

Shia Muslims have been going through 1400 years of genocide. If you believe in the rights of Shi’a Muslims to live and practice their faith without persecution or fear then you are SFHRS.
