Protect Americans from Big Tech's harmful design practices!
U.S. Congress
As lawmakers at the state and federal level weigh new safeguards for artificial intelligence, kids’ online safety, and data privacy, Big Tech companies have ramped up their influence campaign in Washington.
Just recently, a provision almost made it into Congress’ June budget bill that would have blocked states from enforcing or passing laws that regulated artificial intelligence and social media algorithms for the next decade. But after public outcry, Congress stripped the provision from the bill.
But the fight is far from over. President Trump’s AI Action Plan explicitly directs the federal government, including Congress, to strip federal funding from states that adopt “burdensome AI regulations,” and some members of Congress are still pushing for a moratorium on state AI laws.
Tell Congress to put Americans before Big Tech and not to pass legislation that halts states from passing kids safety and AI laws.

Big Tech companies are putting their profits before the safety of the American people. It’s time to address the harmful social media business model by placing the health and well-being of Americans over advertising revenue.
Congress must protect its constituents and not pass any legislation that halts states from passing kids safety and AI laws.
