Don't sell my browser history & geo-location to the highest bidder

Donald Trump

The Republican Congress has passed legislation, that Trump has promised to sign, repealing Obama-era Internet privacy protections that prevent your Internet provider (Verizon, Xfinity/Comcast, Time Warner) from selling your Web surfing history and the history of where you've been physically to the highest bidder, unless you give your permission.

This means future employers -- or anyone -- could check our your Web surfing history to determine your politics, health, sexual orientation and gender identity, race, and sexual interests.

It means current and divorcing spouses can find out where you've been all those nights you said you were working late.

It means police departments and the FBI will no longer need a warrant to track your location.

It means abusers can now track down domestic violence victims.

Enough is enough. Tell Donald Trump to protect your Internet privacy and veto any legislation making it easier for Internet Service Providers to sell your private browsing and geo-location data to the highest bidder.
