The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is vital to Americans, and the stakes could not be higher. The Supreme Court is hearing a case this morning to dismantle it in ways that will devastate hundreds of millions of Americans in the middle of a worsening pandemic.

1. More than 20 million people would lose health insurance.
2. Protections for people with pre-existing health conditions would disappear.
3. Preventive care—including a coronavirus vaccine—would no longer be free.
4. Most health plans could charge patients more and cover less.
