PSU has a bright future. To make that future a reality, we need new leaders who approach our financial future with a focus on transparency, equity, and sustainability.

We can and must:

  • Build a community-led budget that taps into existing funding and prioritizes investment in academic programs and student support services instead of layers of administrative bureaucracy.
  • Support a stable community through a stable workforce at PSU, including more positions in key areas such as Human Resources, Financial Aid, the CARE Team, and Academic and Career Advising.
  • Recover from the pandemic impact by investing the remaining pandemic fund in faculty, students, and supporting academic programs that are key to our mission.
We ask you to make 2023 the year we secure a bright future for PSU for the sake of our students, our communities, and the entire Portland metro area.
