Reinstate Unlawfully Terminated Nurse Organizer!

The George Washington University Hospital (a subsidiary of UHS, Inc.)

UPDATE: Scott Croonquist, CNO at The George Washington University Hospital, illegally terminated beloved nurse Angelo Estrellas on March 22nd. The stated cause of termination was Angelo's support of union organizing.

This unlawful termination is a direct violation of the National Labor Relations Act, and a reprehensible attempt by GWUH to intimidate other nurses as the staff moves towards a union vote.

Angelo exemplifies the term "healthcare hero" and his work family will not rest until this injustice is corrected.  Please help support Angelo by signing this petition and spreading the word!

---

On March 15, 2023, nurses at The George Washington University Hospital (GWUH) filed an election petition with the National Labor Relations Board to unionize. Just hours later, hospital leadership unlawfully suspended registered nurse Angelo Estrellas, who has faithfully cared for the patients of GWUH for over 10 years, due his alleged involvement in the union organizing campaign.

This action by management is a violation of the National Labor Relations Act, and a blatant effort to disrupt the union organizing campaign.  We demand that management immediately rescind any disciplinary action against Angelo and allow him to resume his duties as a highly respected nurse at GWUH.

Please sign and share to help support! Our nurses deserve better.
