Release Students Against EACOP Political Prisoners

Ugandan High Commission

Seven Ugandan students have been detained since the 24th of November after marching to deliver a petition to the parliament of Uganda to stop the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline. During their peaceful march, they were met with violent arrests and have been held in prison ever since.

Reports are emerging that they have faced torture and have been denied food. They have been remanded to prison and denied bail on multiple occasions despite nonviolent protest being their only crime. We demand their immediate release. #StudentsAgainstEACOP
