Respect Immigrant Workers at Our Airport
Denver International Airport

If Denver wants to be a sanctuary city, the time is now to protect its most vulnerable people. For one, Denver should ensure that companies that do business with Denver respect workers.
The airport’s food service and retail workers, many of whom are people of color, refugees, immigrants, women, and Muslims, make DIA great. Under President Trump, the world grows more dangerous for these workers. We will not allow these workers to lose what they have gained through their hard work. We are concerned that you are about to give control of DIA’s terminal to Ferrovial. Ferrovial’s subsidiary profits off the pain of refugees in offshore detention camps. Ferrovial must commit to respect airport workers at DIA.

Protect the food service and retail workers who work in our airport terminal. Do not hand over control until Ferrovial commits that the workers—many of them immigrants, people of color, Muslims and women—will keep their jobs.
