To the Dane County Board of Supervisors:

We, the undersigned — Dane County residents, Wisconsinites, and allies across the country who care deeply about animals and accountability — thank you for introducing Resolution 119, which calls upon the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) to revoke Ridglan Farms’ state-issued, commercial dog breeder license and to remove the dogs covered by that license from Ridglan’s custody.

We ask that you pass this Resolution without delay. The dogs imprisoned at Ridglan Farms cannot wait. Dane County must send a clear message: it refuses to be complicit in the unlawful neglect and mistreatment of animals within its borders, and it expects the State of Wisconsin to enforce its own laws.

Your leadership has sparked hope not only here, but nationwide. People everywhere are watching, applauding your courage, and standing firmly behind you as you push for accountability and compassion.

Thank you for standing up for the dogs, and for making clear that Dane County will not turn a blind eye to cruelty. You do not stand alone.
