This industrial operation, carried out without transparency or consultation with local communities, risks severely disrupting the lake’s ecosystem, depleting its biodiversity, and contaminating its waters. Yet these waters nourish and supply thousands of citizens living along its shores every day

1. We demand the immediate suspension of all gas operations on Lake Kivu

3. We demand in this assessment that solutions be spelled out to protect the Lake.
