Save Net Neutrality
U.S. Governors and state legislators

Net neutrality guarantees equal access to the internet for everyone. Without net neutrality, telecommunications companies like Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T will be able to speed up the websites of big corporations that can afford to pay extra fees and dump the rest of us on internet slow lanes--or even block websites and apps altogether.
The FCC has voted to end net neutrality, but states are fighting back. The governors of New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, and Montana have issued executive orders requiring net neutrality in their states. Twenty-one states, including Maine, have joined a lawsuit challenging the FCC's vote. Bills have been introduced in state legislatures to defend net neutrality.
With Trump in the White House, it's up to state governments to stop Comcast from killing the free and open internet. And if elected governor of Maine, I will do everything in my power to ensure that net neutrality remains law of the land in my state.
