New Orleans Voters
On the December 5th ballot, New Orleans will vote on a millage (a dedicated tax) that, if passed, would devastate library funding by 40%. This would decrease community programming and lead to reduction in community access to library services and resources. We are a coalition of community organizations and workers that has formed to stop the defunding and privatization of a key public institution of our city.
