The Maine legislature has created a commission tasked with developing a Paid Family and Medical Leave program for Maine. The commission represents voices in the legislature, small business owners, and experts in the fields of family and medical care to create a Maine-specific solution for paid family and medical leave.

We support the commission in recommending a strong Paid Family and Medical Leave program that works for all Mainers.

No one should have to choose between their family's health or their job. Paid Family and Medical Leave will allow everyone to live a better life. It will also ensure that our workplaces, schools, and communities stay safe and healthy.
