UPDATE (11/01/17): A group of House Democrats plan to file articles of impeachment before Thanksgiving. A poll also finds that 49% of Americans favor impeaching Donald Trump, with 41% opposed. That poll was conducted October 27-29, after we knew that special counsel Bob Mueller had issued indictments - but before any of its details became public.

President Donald Trump fired FBI Director James Comey because he was investigating the Russian government's interference with Trump's election.

But even before that, Trump's business holdings abroad (and adamant refusal to divest) created a blatant conflict of interest that violate the U.S. Constitution's Foreign Emoluments clause.

It is clear that we now have a constitutional crisis on our hands. President Trump must be impeached.
