Americans across the country have watched in horror as Portland is occupied by “Project Overlord”. We can no longer let public officials hide under the guise of “law and order” while they simultaneously violate our civil liberties and disrupt our constitutional right to peaceful protest.

We here at Open The Government are adding our name to the chorus of voices calling for an end to this shadowy, anti-democratic operation. This is a nonpartisan issue; it is a matter of basic decency and upholding the democratic freedoms of this country.
