On August 7, the West Hollywood City Council unanimously passed a resolution calling for the permanent removal of Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, due to his “disturbing treatment of women and many other actions that do not meet the value of the city.”

West Hollywood’s resolution now heads to the Los Angeles City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for final approval.

Trump’s star would be the first ever removed from the Hollywood Walk of Fame—but what would go in its place? Mark Hamill made a great suggestion: a star for his "Star Wars" co-star, the late Carrie Fisher.

Carrie Fisher was a brilliant actress and mental health advocate. She is much, much more deserving of a Walk of Fame star than Donald Trump will ever be.
