In 2021, the Biden-Harris administration launched the America the Beautiful initiative, a vision to conserve 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030. Known as 30x30, this effort emphasized locally led efforts to conserve and restore the lands, waters, and wildlife that support and sustain the nation.

The Trump administration ended this initiative, which means state governments now need to lead alone. That’s why Sempervirens Fund is mobilizing supporters to take action.
