Sign the petition to Democratic Presidential candidates: Boycott any Fox News town hall or debate
All 2020 Democratic Presidential candidates
In February, Daily Kos delivered over 120,000 signatures to the Democratic National Committee, urging that they do not host a 2020 presidential candidates debate on Fox News.
A few weeks later, the DNC rejected Fox News' bid to host a debate, a crucial decision given Fox's tendency to be Donald Trump's personal propaganda outlet.
However, despite the DNC's commitment to stay away from hosting a debate on Fox News, some Democratic presidential candidates have agreed to town hall-style events with the network.
As of April 17, Senator Amy Klobuchar has agreed to a town hall and Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro are in talks with Fox News. Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Cory Booker are open to the idea, and Senator Elizabeth Warren didn't rule it out, either. Senator Bernie Sanders has already appeared on the network.
This is simply unacceptable. Democratic presidential candidates should not under any circumstances agree to work with a network that endlessly espouses racism, sexism, and xenophobia and peddles propaganda as legitimate news. We are better than this.
All 2020 Democratic presidential candidates must refuse to appear on Fox News. If they have already scheduled a town hall or are in talks to plan one, they need to cancel.

Fox is a right-wing propaganda outlet that legitimizes Donald Trump's lies and does all it can to discredit his Democratic challengers. As a 2020 candidate, please pledge not to attend any town hall or debate on Fox.
