Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has transformed in recent years from a principled Trump critic to a pathetic Trump apologist, defending even the most outrageous conduct.

But now he has crossed the line, urging Donald Trump Jr. to break the law.

After the Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed Donald Jr. about the Russia investigation, Lindsey Graham went on Fox News and urged him to ignore the subpoena.

"If I were Donald Trump Jr.’s lawyer, I would tell him, you don’t need to go back into this environment anymore, you’ve been there for hours and hours and hours, and nothing being alleged here changes the outcome of the Mueller investigation. I would call it a day."

That sounds like obstruction of justice. Lindsey Graham is chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and he should know better. He has abdicated his oath as a United States Senator to uphold the law, in exchange for complete loyalty to the Trump Regime.
