We, UAW members at Cornell University, are ready to do what it takes to win
a record contract. Cornell’s endowment has ballooned to nearly $10 billion
and top administrators are paid in the millions — but we’ve fallen behind.
That ends now.
We’ve been clear with Cornell since the start of contract
negotiations about what it will take to settle a contract:
• No Concessions
• Ending Wage Tiers
• Historic Wage Increases
• COLA to Protect Wages from Inflation
• Longevity Bonus
• No-Cost Employee Parking
• Safer Workplaces
Rather than meet our reasonable demands, Cornell thinks they can
bully and bluster their way to a deal. They’re sadly mistaken.
I will hold Cornell University accountable for their bad behavior and unacceptable
proposals. I will stand up with my coworkers for a record contract. I am the UAW.
