Stand with Omar, Request Release from Detention Center

Honorable Judge presiding over Omar Salazar's Case

Omar Salazar, a beloved leader in Dallas, was recently detained by immigration officials after a minor traffic stop in Lubbock. Omar came to the U.S. in 2008, graduated as valedictorian of Trinidad Garza Early College, and later earned dual degrees in Sociology and Human Rights from SMU. He is also a proud brother of Sigma Lambda Beta and a rising professional in Artificial Intelligence.

Omar has no criminal history. Instead, he has dedicated his life to leadership, service, and uplifting our community. He has organized, mentored, and built connections that inspire and strengthen Dallas. Omar is not a flight risk: he is a son, a brother, and a role model.

We urge your support in signing this petition to bring Omar home to his family and community, and to allow him to continue serving with courage and compassion.
