Stop Fueling the War on Yemen!
Australian Government
The Saudi-led war on Yemen has caused immense death and destruction. Yemen is facing the world's worst
humanitarian crisis, with millions of Yemeni people on the
brink of famine as a result of deliberate Saudi policy, and the worst
cholera outbreak in recorded history.
By dealing weapons to the Saudis, the Australian government is facilitating illegal war crimes and human rights abuses in Yemen. Australia's weapons exports undermine its responsibilities as a member of the Arms Trade Treaty.

The Australian government must honor the Arms Trade Treaty, and stop selling weapons to Saudi Arabia. Australia's weapons exports are fueling illegal war crimes, human rights abuses, and what the UN Secretary-General called "the world's worst humanitarian crisis" in Yemen. We call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defence to ensure that military exports are not contributing to violations of international law by warring parties in Yemen. Additionally, we call on the Minister for Defence Industry Steven Ciobo to reveal the type & manufacturer of the weapons that Australia is exporting to Saudi Arabia.
