THESE 4 CORPORATIONS ARE COMPLICIT IN ENABLING THE ATTEMPTED COUP ON JAN 6TH
CEOs of Amazon, Blackstone, Fidelity, Google

We all watched in horror last week as a group of armed insurrectionists stormed the United States Capitol and attempted a coup in support of Donald Trump. As the story unfolds, it is becoming clear that many in the mob were prepared to kidnap and even execute members of Congress and the Vice President, in a harrowing attempt to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential Election.
This deadly insurrectionist violence was incited by Donald Trump, numerous members of Congress, and networks of white supremacist and far-right organizations who spread misinformation and conspiracy theories about the election, stoked racial division, and even encouraged violence. Their actions were enabled by corporations like Amazon, the Blackstone Group, Fidelity, and Google that have provided fascist politicians and organizations money and a platform. It's time hold them accountable.

We are done with Amazon, the Blackstone Group, Fidelity, and Google for their role in enabling the insurrection in Washington, DC on January 6th.
Sadly, the January 6th attack could mark the beginning of a new era of bolder and more commonplace white supremacist violence. The seditionists who led last week’s insurrection are actively planning further armed demonstrations at the U.S. Capitol and all 50 state capitols in the days leading up to the Presidential Inauguration next week.
The actions of these four corporations pose a direct threat, not only to the democratic process, but to democracy itself.
We call on Amazon to:
- Act swiftly and decisively to remove the websites of all white supremacist hate groups and the campaign websites of all politicians who incited, enabled, or supported last week’s insurrection from Amazon Web Services;
- Adopt and proactively enforce policies to prevent vendors from selling, publishing, or streaming white supremacist, misogynist, anti-Black, anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic, anti-immigrant, and anti-LGBTQ merchandise, propaganda, or music on Amazon’s platforms; and
- Stop donating money to hate groups through AmazonSmile.
We call on Blackstone to:
- Suspend all campaign contributions to the Republican Party, its associated entities, and all Republican candidates until every Republican member of Congress who incited, enabled, or supported the insurrection or voted against certifying all of the electoral votes from the 2020 Presidential election is removed from office.
We call on Fidelity to:
- Act swiftly and decisively to ban its donor-advised funds from making donations to hate groups.
We call on Google to:
- Act swiftly and decisively to de-platform content and content creators from YouTube that incite white supremacist or insurrectionist violence, promote or glorify white supremacist hate groups, or monetize or fundraise off videos of the insurrection. Furthermore, we demand that YouTube remove the personal and campaign channels of all politicians who incited, enabled, or supported the insurrection or voted against certifying all of the electoral votes from the 2020 Presidential election. This includes the channel of Donald Trump himself.
