Stop the Albany Loop (E37) Pipeline

Governor Andrew Cuomo and Public Service Commission Chair John Rhodes,

National Grid plans to spend $70 million of ratepayer money to build The Albany Loop (E37) Pipeline.  This fracked gas pipeline will go under the Hudson River and through the towns of Bethlehem, East Greenbush and North Greenbush. It will disrupt the local community and will increase climate destroying greenhouse gas emissions.

National Grid wants our community dependent on fossil fuels for decades to come so they can continue to bring in huge profits. We know that we must transition to renewable energy now to protect our planet. The pipeline is dangerous to our climate and is not needed. Affordable renewable solutions are now available to meet our community's energy needs.

I am opposed to National Grid's 7.3 mile Albany Loop (E37) Pipeline that will go under the Hudson River and cut through the towns of Bethlehem, East Greenbush and North Greenbush New York.
The pipeline is contrary to New York State climate policy to address global warming and is not needed. Renewable solutions are available!
