Stop the Loopholes! End Canada’s Arms Flow to Israel
Prime Minister Mark Carney, The Federal Government of Canada

Canada is still sending weapons to Israel — even as civilian deaths in Gaza rise and Israel ramps up its assault on Gaza City. Some of those weapons are sent through a loophole that allows Canadian-made arms to flow via the U.S.
Last year, Parliament passed motions to stop arms transfers and call for a ceasefire. But without action to back them up, those promises are empty — and Canada is still playing an active role in the genocide.
A new bill just tabled in Parliament would close the U.S. loophole and help stop Canadian arms exports to Israel. It’s a big opportunity — but it’ll take public pressure to make it happen.

We call on you to support MP Jenny Kwan's Private Member Bill, An Act to amend the Export and Import Permits Act, which seeks to close the U.S. loophole and stop the flow of arms to Israel.
Canada must reform its arms laws to fully comply with the Arms Trade Treaty and end Canada’s complicity in genocide.
