Stop Voter Suppression!
Members of Congress
Voting is our most fundamental right. We call on Congress to say NO to the SAVE Act, the MEGA Act, or any other voter suppression legislation.

Congress is considering two pieces of legislation, the SAVE Act (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) and the MEGA Act (Make Elections Great Again), that would create extreme barriers to voting under the guise of election security. The passing of this legislation would initiate an unprecedented attack on democracy by putting in place restrictions preventing tens of millions of Americans from casting a ballot. Neither bill is about protecting elections, both are deliberate systems intended to suppress voter turnout.
The SAVE Act and the MEGA Act would prohibit eligible voters from participating in the democratic process by demanding documentary proof of citizenship for voter registration and a photo ID requirement to vote. These qualifications would disproportionately affect elderly voters, college students, people with disabilities, low-income Americans, and communities of color.
Both pieces of legislation usurp states’ authority to run their own elections by banning ranked choice voting, purging voter rolls, prohibiting universal vote-by-mail systems, and requiring states to use “auditable paper ballots,” calling into question secure voting systems that have operated soundly and without detriment for decades.
Creating these barriers is a deliberate choice designed to suppress voter turnout.
We call on Congress to say NO to the SAVE Act and MEGA Act, or any legislation that would prohibit the right to vote. We ask that Congress protect voting rights for all Americans and stand up for voter access over partisan suppression.
Voting is the foundation of our democracy. When that right is legislated into a privilege, democracy fails. Sign below to show your support for voter access and stand up against voter suppression.
