Donald Trump released his 2019-20 budget this week, which included this blockbuster announcement- he wants to cut Medicare by $845 Billion.
Medicare is already inadequately funded, causing increases for the most vulnerable people in our nation. This mean-spirited budget will cause untold suffering for the 58 million elderly and disabled people on Medicare.
Even some members of his own party are outraged at this attempt to slash healthcare. We can stop this egregious budget.
