Strengthen Tennessee's 911 Good Samaritan law!
SUPPORT
The 911 Good Samaritan Law in TN prevents punitive actions against any person who calls 911 to request medical assistance for someone who may be experiencing a drug overdose.
This law has saved countless lives from accidental overdose since it was enacted in 2015, but the current law applies criminal immunity protections to an individual needing medical attention for an overdose only if it is the first time they have overdosed, effectively allowing Tennesseans experiencing an overdose to utilize protections under this law one time only.
This petition is to support legislation that proposes removing the one-time only limitation
and keeps all other parts of the law intact.
Removing this limitation will SAVE EVEN MORE LIVES!
Take action and pass it on to others to STRENGTHEN the TN Good Samaritan law.
