Students Not Bombs: Petition
Cornell Administrators & Trustees
Cornell is complicit in genocide. Through its endowment, invested in weapons manufacturers. Through its partnership with Technion University-Israel Institute of Technology at Cornell Tech. Through Cornell Career Services, recruiting for weapons manufacturers and ICE. Through its research, facilitating direct work on arms and surveillance technology.
At the same time, Cornell is failing to contribute its fair share Ithaca community, and even its own students. Cornell has not adequately funded TCAT services and weaponizes its tax-exempt status to benefit from city services while starving city residents of resources. The university has defunded Anabel's Grocery, attacked co-operative housing, and continually increased housing and tuition costs.

I demand that Cornell University's administrators and Trustees prioritize students, not bombs.
1. Cornell must divest from BAE Systems, Boeing, Elbit Systems, General Dynamics, L3Harris Technologies, Leonardo, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, RTX, and ThyssenKrupp.
2. Cornell and Cornell Tech must sever their ties with Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
3. Cornell Career Services must no longer host institutions underpinning the genocide in Palestine and domestic mass deportations in the United States.
4. Cornell must create an independent ethical research review board consisting of hired students, faculty, staff, and outside human rights experts.
5. Cornell must pay its fair share towards the Ithaca community it claims to serve by investing in TCAT and other city services.
6. Cornell must redirect internal investments to prioritize student affordability, fund Anabel's Grocery and co-operative housing, and halt rent increases to dorms.
7. Cornell must diversify academic opportunity, support currently underfunded departments, and create a Palestinian Studies minor and major.
