The platform items that grassroots recovery advocates will organize around include
Peer Recovery Support by elevating the importance of non-clinical recovery programs, and expanding community and person - centered recovery support & advocacy.
Equitable, safe, affordable, standard - driven recovery housing and supporting policies that reduce homelessness .
Equitable access to recovery support and harm reduction services with a strong effort to simplify navigation of appropriate care and resources .
The grassroots recovery advocacy community also is working to improve diversion and alternative sentencing that helps people and reduce recidivism by supporting reentry services .
