Know Hope North Carolina is a facebook group which honors people who have lost their lives to the opioid epidemic. We create banners which include 100 faces, names, birth dates and angel dates of too many people who left far too soon.

We have many families interested in placing a billboard between Greensboro and Raleigh on I40 of the Know Hope Banner 1. We need funding to buy the vinyl for the billboard and place it on the interstate for 4 weeks beginning August 2, 2021 - September 30, 2021, which covers International Overdose Awareness day and Recovery month.

It is our mission to bring awareness, education and remembrance to those we have lost, those still struggling, those in recovery and the heroes who fight daily to help others.

Today I am signing this petition in support of the Know Hope Billboard Campaign to bring awareness to the opioid epidemic and the lives lost from it.

We must bring awareness, education and remembrance to those we have lost, those still struggling, those in recovery and the heroes who fight daily to help others.

International Overdose Awareness Day is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose, remember without stigma those who have died and acknowledge the grief of the family and friends left behind. Following that Recovery Month is a national observance held every September to educate Americans that substance use treatment and mental health services can enable those with a mental and/or substance use disorder to live a healthy and rewarding life.

It is my hope that North Carolina is a part of these important national events, and the Know Hope Billboard Campaign will help the efforts of our healing communities.
