Ensure Stable Funding for Schools
Schools lose essential funding every time a student is absent. Yet, operational costs remain the same. HB 276 changes this by funding schools based on enrollment, not attendance, ensuring every school has the resources necessary to pay teachers, maintain facilities, and invest in their students.

Expand Access to Early Childhood Education
A strong foundation is essential for lifelong success, and early education is critical to achieving it. HB 358 makes every Texas child eligible for full-day Pre-K, providing access to critical education services that prepare our youngest Texans for a bright future.

Create Welcoming and Inclusive School Environments
Texas is home to a diverse population of students, and everyone deserves to feel valued and included. HB 393 repeals the anti-DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) laws enacted in 2023, ensuring that all students, regardless of background, have a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Eliminate Burdensome Standardized Testing
Teachers know how to teach; they shouldn’t be restricted by rigid, ineffective standardized testing like the STAAR. HB 297 would eliminate the STAAR and other unnecessary standardized tests, giving educators the freedom to focus on meaningful learning rather than "teaching to the test."
