Take Action to Protect and Support Frontline Workers at ServiceNet!

ServiceNet

The 500 UAW Local 2322 members at ServiceNet provide care and support  for the people with disabilities, mental health issues, traumatic brain injuries, the houseless, and other people in need across 60+ programs in Western Massachusetts.

They are on the front-lines serving the most vulnerable, and they deserve to have greater protection and support for the essential work they do in this difficult time. ServiceNet management is not listening or acting on the concerns of our members.

UAW members at ServiceNet need:

  • At least 2 weeks of paid emergency leave in addition to existing leave
  • At least time and half pay for the duration of the state of emergency
  • Access to proper personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies, and household staples at each program site
  • Enforceable protections for workers who are over 60, are immunocompromised, and/or have underlying health conditions
  • Joint Union/Management training on OSHA, CDC, and Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services guidance for all workers on paid time
  • Union worker representation in all decision making groups for ServiceNet's COVID-19 response
