Earlier this month, Insider Union members, who power the journalism behind Business Insider, learned that management planned to layoff more than 25% of the union as part of their ongoing “strategy” to “build toward something new.”

Central to that strategy: Going “all-in” on AI.

Since then, Business Insider bosses like CEO Barbara Peng refused to give thoughtful answers to any questions on what “going all in on Ai” really means.

AI should never replace workers and no employee should ever be required to use generative AI.
